Dog can be one of the first choice came into our mind while thinking of owning a pet. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to choose and own the right one over 100 species of dogs.
Therefore, My Pet's Avenue is posting several tips on how to choose a suitable dog.
1. The Size of the dog – Decide the size of the dog that is ideal and comfortable for you based on current housing environment. The needs and wants of dogs is vary depend on the size. For example, a huge dog need more space to roam freely whereas smaller dog may need more attention and cares. Therefore, it is important that you choose the right one as different size of dogs carry different attitude and requirements.
2. The Activity Level – Think on what your requirement on the dogs, either you want is as companion or to perform some specific function such as hunting, jogging and racing. There are over 100 types of dogs and parts of it do not prefer high activity level whereas parts of it do. Somehow, dogs always respond well with increase energy level on activities if they are specially train or often routine of it.
3. Physical Maintenance - You should include your ability to provide a good and quality grooming for your dogs in concern before choosing the dogs.
4. Age of the Dog – Consider as well the age of the dogs before making decision. This is because puppy needs more degree of attention and cares on living environments, diet and health condition.
5. Colour of the Dog – Consideration on the colour of dogs is somehow important depend on you.
